[ what's on offer ]
■
We’re a small, values‑led team focused on delivering high‑quality tours with warmth, respect and professionalism. We care about the stories we tell and the people who tell them.
As a freelancer, you’ll have autonomy, flexibility and a supportive team behind you.
We offer:
Flexible working hours
A steady flow of guests generated through our marketing and partnerships, so you can focus on guiding rather than business development
Comprehensive training to help you learn the script, the route and the delivery
Regular coaching sessions to support your growth and confidence
Wrap‑around care, you won’t be left to figure things out alone
A clear narrative structure for each tour
A revenue‑sharing model based on trust and transparency
This role suits someone who values independence, takes ownership of their work and enjoys learning. You’ll work with well‑researched scripts, but you’ll also have the freedom to bring your own presence and style to the delivery while staying true to the story.

Common questions
-
You earn a share of the revenue for every guest you guide, so your income depends on how many tours you choose to run and how busy the season is. On top of that, we reward our highest‑rated guides – the better your delivery, the more you earn. That’s why we invest so much in your training and coaching: great guiding is recognised, valued, and reflected directly in your pay.
-
Experience isn’t required. We can build that with you. What we’re looking for are the core skills and qualities that make someone a strong guide:
Fluency in English or Spanish / Italian (depending on tours you’d like to cover)
Good memory for historical facts, figures and dates
Clear, engaging communication
Comfort with improvisation and thinking on your feet
Good organisational habits
Ability to build rapport quickly
Calmness under pressure
Curiosity about history and culture
Reliability and excellent punctuality
A sense of ownership over your work

We don’t offer employment in the traditional sense. We work with freelancers, either on a B2B basis (you operate your own sole‑trader company – JDG) or, if you’re a student, through a student contract that doesn’t require B2B but also isn’t direct employment.
This setup gives you freedom to work elsewhere if you wish – just not with our scripts, guests, or materials – while still benefiting from the training and knowledge you gain with us.
It also means flexible hours and full control over your schedule. You are responsible for your own ZUS and tax contributions, and we do check that you have an active JDG and an accountant in place to make sure everything is handled correctly and you don’t run into trouble.
-
No, we cover all marketing and business development activities. We provide guests for your tours and agree the schedule with you, you will be able to focus on guiding.
-
